Meet the Math Tutors
Hello! I am Ms. Flores and I am the 3rd-6th grade math tutor.
I’ve been a teacher for the past decade. I am a lifelong resident of Dallas, TX. I attended St. Monica and graduated high school at Bishop Lynch. I then received my education degree at Texas Tech University. Go Red Raiders!
After I graduated, I taught 3rd grade math, science, social studies, and religion at St. Elizabeth of Hungary for 2 years. I transitioned to St. Thomas Aquinas, where I spent the last 8 years teaching math.
I began tutoring during the summer of 2015 and have grown to love the individualized instruction to help fill in the gaps for students. This is one of the many reasons I started my own tutoring business!
I have two dogs named Rocky and Penny. One is a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel and the other is a Yorkie Terrier. I love spending time with my family and my dream would be to travel the world!
Hello! I am Ms. Smith and I am the 7th-12th grade math tutor and 3rd-8th grade reading tutor. I am highly enthusiastic about helping students achieve their academic goals. I believe that every student learns differently, and I tailor my teaching style to meet each individual's needs.
I graduated from the University of Texas of the Permian Basin with a Bachelor of Arts in Art and a Minor in Psychology, and I hold a teacher's certification in elementary education. My background includes teaching K–6th grade art for 13 years, substitute teaching K–12th grade across all major subjects, including algebra, art, and language arts for 10 years, and tutoring for 3 years.
During my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family, walking, nature photography, reading, sketching, watching documentaries, and comedy.
Teaching is incredibly rewarding to me, and I am eager to help your child develop the foundational skills and practical knowledge needed for their future!
